Shane is the owner and founder of PATRIOT High Performance Homes. Shane’s approach to construction combines a deep knowledge of building science, proficiency in project management, CPA-level accounting and an entrepreneurial spirit to continue implementing best practices across all aspects of a home.

Before becoming a builder, Shane served as a Navy SEAL Officer, gaining unparalleled leadership and operational experience across the globe. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Outside of work, Shane can often be found at the beach with his family and dog, playing sports with his kids, or developing his latest construction fintech venture, Ledgerwise.

Brooks is a Project Manager who brings an incredible amount of attention to detail and building science intellect to his work.

Prior to joining PATRIOT, Brooks retired from the Navy after 24 years of military service as an MH-60R Seahawk Pilot. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the Naval Academy and an MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterrey, CA.

When Brooks is not building in Coronado, he can be found on the other side of the bay exploring San Diego with his wife and three kids, usually by bike!

Sam is a Senior Project Manager with a hands on approach to building with exceptional leadership skills at the trade partner level.

Sam attended UC Berkeley where he became a national champion rower and Pac-10 Athlete of the Year on the Varsity Crew team. Sam is a former Navy SEAL with 10 years of experience solving problems, teaching/mentoring, handling complex logistics, and delivering superior results as an advanced warfare operator. Sam is currently attending San Diego State University to pursue a Master’s Degree in Accounting.

leadership. Born and raised in Coronado, Matt takes great pride in carrying forward the tradition of craftsmanship that defines the community he grew up in. His local roots and deep understanding of the area’s unique character translate into a personal commitment to every home he helps bring to life.

After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of San Diego, Matt developed a balanced perspective that bridges both the business and practical sides of construction.

When he’s not managing builds, you’ll find Matt under the hood of his vintage Scout restoration project, out on the water paddleboarding or surfing, or enjoying Coronado life with his wife and their young son, James. His passion for craftsmanship and community shows not just in his work, but in how he lives.
